Legendary singer, songwriter, musician and producer Stevie Wonder announces that his Songs In The Key of Life Performances – 50th Anniversary Tour will be coming to 3Arena in Stockholm on October 22, 2026.

The concert, presented by Live Nation and produced by Wonder Productions, Inc., celebrates the 50th anniversary of the groundbreaking and universally acclaimed Songs In The Key of Life album – one of the most influential albums ever created – and the musical genius of Stevie Wonder. During the evening, the 25-time GRAMMY® award-winning artist will perform the iconic album in its entirety.

Songs In The Key of Life was originally released in 1976 and earned Stevie Wonder the third of his three GRAMMY® Awards for Album of the Year. The album has reached diamond status with over ten million copies sold and has been selected for the Library of Congress National Recording Registry. Featuring some of Wonder’s most beloved and timeless songs, the album continues to inspire generations of artists and fans around the world.

At a time when the world continues to search for community, healing and joy, the messages of Songs In The Key of Life feel as urgent and necessary today as they did in 1976. Songs like “As,” “Love’s in Need of Love Today,” “Sir Duke” and “Isn’t She Lovely” are deeply woven into the emotional lives of generations around the world. American singer, songwriter, musician and producer Stevie Wonder is one of popular music's most celebrated and influential figures. At the age of 12, he became the youngest artist ever to have a number one single with "Fingertips Part 2," and later became the first artist to simultaneously reach number one on the Billboard Hot 100, R&B singles and albums charts.

To date, he has had 49 top 40 singles, 32 number one singles and has sold over 100 million copies worldwide. Stevie has won 25 Grammy Awards, the prestigious Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, a Golden Globe and an Academy Award. His iconic album Songs In The Key of Life is preserved in the Library of Congress National Recording Registry for its cultural, historical and aesthetic significance.

In 1983, Stevie played a driving role in making Martin Luther King Day a national holiday in the United States, and his song “Happy Birthday” became the movement’s unifying anthem. His participation in the 1985 charity project “We Are The World,” in support of the famine disaster in Africa, became a milestone in the music industry. His work to end apartheid in South Africa is also legendary.

He is the youngest recipient of the Kennedy Center Honors, a Commander of the French Order of Arts and Letters, and an inductee into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the Songwriters Hall of Fame, and the NAACP Hall of Fame, among others. When he was awarded the Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song, Stevie performed the commissioned piece written for the occasion, “Sketches Of A Life,” placing him in a very exclusive group of distinguished composers who have been commissioned by the Library. In 2024, Stevie was awarded the George Peabody Medal for Outstanding Contributions to Music and Dance in America by Johns Hopkins University.

A recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom and the Wolf Prize, Stevie is a United Nations Messenger of Peace, with a special focus on people with disabilities. He continues to be a central voice in the United States and around the world, demonstrating through his commitment the activism that has made him such a significant force for social progress and global harmony.
